Mike Huber is a nationally-recognized expert on rough-and-tumble play, gender diversity, and inclusion. He is the author of Embracing Rough and Tumble Play: Teaching with the Body in Mind and Inclusion Includes Us: Building Bridges and Removing Barriers to Include All Children and Adults in Early Childhood Classrooms, as well as six picture books (Redleaf Press). He has written articles for Exchange, Young Children, Active Learner and other publications, topics include rough-and-tumble play, inclusion, gender diversity, documentation and others. He is part of leadership for Transforming Families, a peer-support group for parents of trans and non-binary children and youth. He is a co-host of the weekly podcast Teaching with the Body in Mind and a frequent guest on other podcasts including That Early Childhood Nerd, Mom Enough, Parent Town and others. He has presented at national and international conferences. He has trained for hundreds of teachers and childcare providers in Minnesota.
